Migrating to ArcGIS Online

On January 28th, 2017, we made some changes to our Whale mAPP storage and user management system. If you haven’t registered as a Whale mAPP user, this doesn’t impact you.  Go ahead and sign up as a new user.

Whale mAPP’s user management system, Parse, decided to retire it’s services. Because of this, we transitioned the application to an ArcGIS Online platform that will make WhalemAPP more sustainable, allow it to expand its capabilities, and provide users like you with new tools for collaboration and data access.

The transition to this powerful new platform requires a small amount of work from you. If you would like to keep using Whale mAPP, please opt-in to the new system in the email we sent you on January 24th, 2017.  If you didn’t receive this email, please let us know.

Once you opt in, we will migrate your data and then provide you with new credentials and directions for accessing the new app.

If you choose not to opt in, you will no longer be able to log into the WhalemAPP website with your existing account or use the Android application.
