True’s Beaked Whale
The coloration is dark gray on the upperside and light gray on the underside with dark rings around the eyes and some white patches. Sometimes scars are visible.
They sometimes show their beaks when they are surfacing.
Warm temperate North and South Atlantic and southern Indian Ocean
Unknown, but seems to be rare

Usually seen in groups of up to 3.
Entanglement in fishing gear
Up until 1959, it was unknown that they also lived in the southern hemisphere.
